Gina Hawkshaw [Biography]

Gina Hawkshaw

Gina Hawkshaw is one of the most talented wildlife artists in the UK today with collectors not only at home but abroad as well. The self-taught artist has inspired her buyers with her incredible detail and ability to bring an animal to life using only acrylic.

Gina lives in a thatched cottage in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with her little family including her husband, son and animal friends. She is a full-time artist and dedicates any spare time to her art. She has recently been shortlisted for the prestigious David Shepard Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019.

I have had horses, dogs and cats for most of my life and have always enjoyed painting and drawing them, I first picked up a paintbrush in 2010, and decided to make a career from painting soon after.
