Darrell Evanes [Biography]

Darrell Evanes

Darrell was born 1965 in Leeds West. He studied BTEC National in art & design at Harrogate College from 1990 to 1992 and graduated at Bretton Hall Leeds in 1996 with BA (Hons) in fine art sculpture.
He now has an established workshop where he builds his models entirely from scrap materials in his unique style. Says Ray Loud, Buckingham's MD: 'The first time I saw these models I was amazed by both the beauty and detail. It really brought out the boy in me, just like a kid I wanted to touch them and own them. What a lucky man he is, how many of us would love to earn our living in such a way. Our boyhood hobby taken to such a wonderful new creative level. These art truely collectable works of art.'
His artworks come in all shapes and sizes and can be sited both indoors and outdoors. Some of his larger pieces are huge and are true art installations.
