Brian has been painting and drawing all his life but it was not until he was 21 that he started to fulfill his dream of being painting full time.

After an early ambition to attend art school was thwarted on account of his age at the time, Brian taught himself through studying the Masters and absorbing influences from all aspects of art.

He works from sketches and photographs taken on his travels and his aim is to recapture the atmosphere of the places he visits and not to merely reproduce the scene. His inspiration comes from the effect of sunlight as it shifts and changes throughout the day. His use of dappled light to transform and romance a scene is his trademark. This ability coupled with a massive natural artistic talent, combines to create paintings that are both brilliant and charming. He is one of the most naturally talented artists we have had the pleasure to represent, and work of such quality is without doubt both an investment and pleasure for any discerning art collector.
